Although her family loves a good homemade gumbo, Ms. Lou knows it takes time and money. That’s why when she’s in a hurry, she just uses Blue Runner Gumbo Base. And you know what, they can’t tell the difference!
Slice sausage into 1/2 in. pieces.
Debone the rotisserie chicken and put aside.
Pour can of Blue Runner Creole Gumbo Base into pot, add sausage and bring to a boil for five minutes, then add chicken.
Boil until gumbo is desired thickness.
Serve over rice.
