15-Minute Seafood Gumbo Ya-Ya

When our ancestors settled in Louisiana, we’re pretty sure what kept them here was the seafood (it sure wasn’t the humidity). The good thing about living in our time instead of there’s, is we can make a great pot of seafood gumbo in 15 minutes with Blue Runner Ya-Ya Gumbo Base. Not convinced it will be as good as the gumbo grandmère used to make? One taste from your wooden spoon as you lean over the stove will back up our claim.

Ingredients

 1 can Blue Runner Ya-Ya Gumbo Base
 2 tbsp olive oil
 ½ cup chopped onion
 ½ cup chopped celery
 ½ cup bell pepper
 ½ lb fresh seafood (shrimp, crab, crawfish)
 Rice

Directions

Shake can of Blue Runner Ya-Ya Gumbo Base before opening.

Pour 2 tbsp of olive oil into your saucepan.

Add chopped onion, celery, and bell pepper to pan on medium heat. Stir for 3-5 minutes.

Pour Blue Runner Ya-Ya Gumbo Base can and stir.
