While it’s hard to beat our Cinco de Bean Dip, we set out to try. This super cheesy dip, made with Blue Runner Refried Pinto Beans, has a mild, nutty, and creamy flavor while the black bean dip offers a richer, deeper, and more earthy flavor with a firmer texture. Make them both and decide which you like best.
Preheat the oven to 350°F with a rack in the center.
Grease an 8×8 baking dish and set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, mix together the cheddar and Monterrey Jack Cheese, set aside.
In another mixing bowl, add the cream cheese and sour cream to a large bowl and stir to combine with a wooden spoon or handheld mixer on medium speed.
Add Blue Runner Refried Beans, half of the cheese mixture, taco seasoning, and hot sauce to the bowl, and stir (or mix on low) until well combined.
Transfer the bean dip to the baking dish and top with the remaining cheese. Bake for 20 minutes, uncovered.
Top with green onion garnish and serve with your favorite tortilla chips.
